Note Taker

This is a data entry field which acts like a mini-word processor with complete word wrap and cut/paste functions. It is used to edit free form text.

Since the Note Taker behaves like a word processor, you cannot leave a Note Taker using the <Tab> or <Enter> keys. You must switch to another control using a keyboard shortcut or the mouse instead.

Drag & Drop

Drag and drop is a way to copy information from one window to another using the mouse. Position the mouse over the browse record or field you wish to copy and hold down the left mouse button. You will see the mouse cursor change shape. While still holding the mouse button down, move (drag) the mouse cursor to the destination field and release the mouse button. This copies (or drops) the data to the destination. You can drag and drop between:

• The Calculator and numeric fields and text fields.
• The Calendar and date and text fields.
• The Dialer and phone number fields.
• The Stop Watch and time, text or numeric fields.
