Most operations in Simple Accounting can be interrupted or cancelled by pressing the <Esc> key, or the clicking your mouse on the Close button [X] at the top right of the active window.

Some Exceptions

But there are some operations that cannot be interrupted because they are critical to maintaining the integrity of your data. These include:

• Installing this program
• When starting the program
• When building a query
• Updating the Period
• Updating the Aging for customer or vendor accounts
• Finally, You may not cancel a transaction by pressing <Esc>. You must save the transaction or delete it altogether.
