Ollie Reports: Contacts & User Reports

From the ground up, Ollie has been designed for Users. A User in Ollie, is simply a Contact in SAFE which has been linked to a Customer. By default, everything in Ollie is based on the User seeing only information he/she is supposed to see. Products, Orders, Reports are all limited in this way.

So a User, by default sees only the Orders he/she entered. And further, he/she sees only the orders he/she entered via Ollie.

So by default the Item History and all basic reports display only the that information.

If you want a Sales Order entered directly into SAFE to be visible to an Ollie User, you must make sure it is linked to that Ollie User, ie. the Contact.

You can do this by linking the Customer ID to a default On-Line Contact in the Customer Master. That sets each new order to this Contact. So when that User logs in via Ollie, they are able to see those Orders.

You can override this on a per order basis in the header of the Order under the Address tab.

If the order is already invoiced, you can right click on the Order in the S/O Browse and select the Update Linked Contact function.
