This window sets the user options which are unique to each Employee ID. You must use your personal password in order to access this screen.
Setting The Same Options For All Users
When you press [OK] you have the option of saving the same User Options for all users if you are logged in using the Default Employee ID. This lets you reset each user with the same settings.
If you save options for all users, the same user password is also applied to each user.
Fields
DEFAULT ACTIVITY TYPE: | Enter the default activity type for use with the Scheduler and Contact Manager. |
User Password | Enter your personal password. This prevents other users from logging on with your Employee ID and also prevents other users from changing these options. |
SIGNATURE LINE (Advanced!) | Enter a formula here to close your mailings, faxes and e-mails in Contact Activities. The default will add the following lines to all activity notes entered as mailings, faxes or e-mail:

Message Window Timer | Enter how long message window should stay on screen. |
BUSINESS REMINDERS | Check this box to be reminded of the following pending business activities every time you log on to Simple Accounting.

AUTOMATICALLY ROLL OVER INCOMPLETE ACTIVITIES | Automatically move incomplete unscheduled activities from previous days to the current business day (ignores weekends). Unscheduled activities are ones without a CONTACT TIME. |
PLAY SOUNDS | When checked, Simple Accounting plays a Windows sound at various events, such as start up or when a appears. The sound and it’s volume is determined by each user’s settings in Windows Control Panel. |
SAVE BROWSE SETTINGS | Automatically save the size and position of windows. The width and position of browse columns, plus your favorite tab for each browse is also saved. |
SAVE FORM SETTINGS | Automatically save the printer and number of copies you prefer for each form. Un-check this box to disable this feature. |
If you need to, you can print a list of all currently active Employee Options. You must have Security Extensions enabled in order to print for anyone other than the currently logged in Employee ID. We recommend sorting this by MODULE then EMPLOYEE ID. Keep handy if you need to make changes for another Employee ID. That way you can always easily undo any changes you make that aren’t exactly what you had in mind.
