Stop Watch <F5>
This is a simple window that lets you view the current time of day and time events. You can have any number of Stop Watches open at the same time to keep track of multiple events.
The Stop Watch may be activated at any time by pressing [F5] on your keyboard.
DRAG AND DROP
Using the Windows drag-and-drop feature, the elapsed time can be dragged into a number field and the current time can be dragged into a time field.
Example: You start a Stop Watch when you make a ten minute phone call to a client. While on the phone you enter an activity to note the conversation. At the conclusion of the call, press the [Stop] button and drag the elapsed time (in minutes) into the AMOUNT field of the activity. Then, drag the current time into the CONTACT TIME field.
TIP! You can always paste the current time into a field without having a stop watch window open. Simply place the mouse at the bottom of the stop watch button, hold down the left mouse button and drag the mouse cursor to the field you wish to insert the current time into. Voila! The current time is inserted into the field. (The mouse cursor changes shape to show you that you are dragging.)
