Progress Bar

This control looks sort of like a ‘thermometer’. It displays the progress of lengthy automated processes as a percentage of completion. The progress bar doesn’t actually do anything, but it does keep you informed that something is happening (and what that something is) while the process is running. Examples of places you will see the progress bar are when posting payments, closing the period or updating the running balance of the check register.
