SAFE: Standard Forms

Here is where you can download standard form layouts for Simple Accounting for DOS and Windows programs. The printed forms for these layouts are available from all leading manufacturers and suppliers.

Important Notes:

Always make certain that your browser is downloading the file to your Simple Accounting directory (usually C:\SIMPLE.
Any format you install will automatically overwrite the previous version of that form(s). Backup your complete Simple Accounting directory before installing a new format.

Each file contains the latest version of all standard forms used in this software. When you download one of these files you are updating all forms used by Simple Accounting! To view some samples of these forms, click here.

Installation Instructions:

After you download the file, you will need to copy it to your Simple Accounting folder, overwriting the existing version.

These files are used by Simple Accounting for DOS. Each file contains the data for a single form:

Installation Instructions:

After you download the format, you will need to run the CopyForm utility in order to install it as your new form of choice in Simple Accounting. If you do not have CopyForm.EXE, you can get it by clicking here.
CopyForm.EXE requires the Simple Accounting library file SIMPLE.PLL to be located in your Simple Accounting directory in order to run. If you do not have SIMPLE.PLL, you can get it by clicking here.
To install a downloaded form using CopyForm, type the following at the Simple Accounting prompt:

COPYFORM mod filename <enter>

where 'mod' is the two character designation of the module the form is to be used in. For example, if this is the Quicken A/P Laser check you would type:

C:\SIMPLE\>COPYFORM AP APCKCQ1.DBF <enter>
