What are the jokes about turning twenty nine? You’re one year away from being ‘old’. But every year we try and stop to take stock of the fact that not many software companies of any size make it this far. We’ve decided to not make too big a deal out of this particular anniversary, deciding to save up for ‘The Big 3-0’! But we did want to give you a few quick thoughts on where we are and say ‘Thank You!’, because you make this possible.

First, it appears that the industry is doing a bit better. At least, those are the anecdotes we receive. Many of you have survived the Great Recession by honing in on a particular niche and we’re doing our best to help you make the most of it. As always we want to encourage you for input on how we can further streamline your workflow. We’re preparing a questionnaire we’d like everyone to fill out and return, but in the meantime, if you have any ideas on what would make Simple Accounting help you get your work done faster, or open up more opportunities, please let us know. We’re already planning development for 2015 so now is the time! We can’t stress enough that, as businesses become more specialised, it is critical that we hear from you on your needs. The days of ‘generic’ are long gone. We will both thrive to the extent that we can do something that no one else offers ‘out of the box’. Our job is to help you offer what your competitors can’t.
