Simple Accounting for Forms Experts Thin Client (ThinSAFE for short) is the latest member of the Simple Accounting for Forms Experts line of business applications. It allows users to run every SAFE function with the traditional SAFE interface, but using a thin client technology to perform all processing at the server, with PCs linked via a standard internet connection. So thin client simply means that the software actually executes on a server and not on each user's desk top.

Ethernet Switches vs. Hubs! Many of you have heard both these terms used with regard to your networks. They are very similar in the job they do, which is to act as a switchboard for data flowing between various computers on your network. However, the way they do it is very different. To make things as simple as possible, you should probably get a Switch as Switches tend to provide much faster performance.
Perfs and other fields are 15 chars wide! POs can be modified! A lot of times we get complaints regarding the purchase orders not meeting your needs. We try quite hard to indicate that this is why the purchase orders can be customized. There simply is not enough room on the PO to meet all our clients needs! One of the most common gripes is in the area of perforations. Many customers do not realize that the fields can easily handle up to 15 characters which should be adequate for most needs. The problem of course, is that the standard forms do not allow for 15 chars of space! Your ISP mail is not instantaneous! When you send an e-mail message it often gets transmitted through several ISPs on it's way to it's final destination. Each ISP has it's own traffic management system in order to maximize throughput. The ISP's software is constantly trying to figure out the most efficient way to send messages and attempts to bundle them together based on various parameters such as message destination, size and attachments. This is similar to Fed Ex, where each message is like a package; Fed Ex groups all packages going to a particular place onto the same plane, rather than sending a separate flight for each box! One of the biggest factors which can delay a package is whether or not you have an attachment. Many ISPs, such as AOL, can delay messages with large attachments for up to several hours.THIS DOCUMENT IS PROVIDED FOR
