Cloning General Ledger Transactions

This button allows you to undo a number of common errors while maintaining a solid audit trail of ‘who did what.’ There are three operations you can perform with this button:

Clone Make an exact copy, either in the current accounting period, or in another unlocked period. This option is not available for Automatically Posted Transactions.

Reverse Nullify the effects of a transaction by creating a series of entries with the same dollar amount and accounts but debits instead of credits and credits instead of debits for each line. You may not reverse an Automatically Posted Transaction (such as one generated from a Sales Order or Vendor Invoice.)

Move Reverse the transaction from its current period and automatically re-enter it into another period.
