On many data entry windows, you can press <Ctrl/M> to duplicate the value of a field entered into the last record.
You just entered 8.5″ into the WIDTH field on Ply #1 of a three part form in the Product Spec Editing window. When you enter Ply #2, you do not need to re-type 8.5″ in the WIDTH field. No, when you get to this field, simply press <Ctrl/M> and the Simple Accounting automatically fills in 8.5″ for you!
Thats why its called Field Memory: Simple accounting remembers the value of the WIDTH field from Ply #1 and allows you to re-use it again and again on subsequent plys. The Field Memory feature is available for most fields in Simple Accounting data entry screens.
